my 4th VAG build

well, i've documented each one of my builds here, so i'll keep the tradition going...

i picked up a 2010 vw cc sport with a 2.0t TSI motor and six speed manual transmission.

here's all you get till it's complete...a shot from after the storm yesterday morning:


this ones been going on now for almost two months and should have started sooner, but take a look at my blog which documents this build from bone stock w/16 miles on the odometer, to whenever i can say it's sold.
this project has been one of the best yet, with top notch parts and one hell of a car.

the CC is a great lux car. I got a chance to drive 2 in Germany for long distances. The interior is just that good.

the rline is a joke...purley cosmetic. it's vws sline.
I've already achieved it and some with the gold coast kit and my own interior/exterior touches.
even if it had upgraded performance, my stage 2 motor would destroy it.
...dynos to come as I await the completed software to be flashed.

That's sad. AWD is a must. I'm waiting for the Golf-R to get here and if it doesn't I'll get a German AWD that's fast as hell.
Screw drive train loss... I need something that hooks up all the time. FWD doesn't cut it for me. My modded MKV GTI sux to hook up... I have burned more tires off the front-end of that car. The power is awesome, just can't stand a car that won't hook up!!!

it's hardly sad...it's definitely not a must.
my first VAG was a quattro B6, then into a FWD GTI, then into a FWD A3.
not only is the V6 a fail, but i like the response of the FWD turbo, especially in this sedan.
sounds more like you need to work on your driving, as plenty of FWDs even do BT.
all 4 of my cars have been stage 2 turbos and sure if your WOT and drop the clutch you'll spin tires but there's a way to handle the torque, stick it, and really enjoy the the power if you know what your doing.
i'm not knocking quattro by any means, but theres no reason to knock FWD either.

not only are these monos, they're matte p-coated brushed aluminum with staggered concave hubs...one-off to say the least.

I just don't particularly like the S-10 pattern as i've seen about 20 cars with them, and there's 3 cars i've seen in the flesh here in New England with them, one of which is in my state.

I'm intrigued by the fact they are monos though. is DPE going to be putting out a mono line? or was this just a one off for you?
