While most of us may not like to take risks, it can sometimes be a good thing. Going with the status quo certainly won't help you stand out. You're not going to set yourself apart by doing the same thing everyone else is doing. For instance, if you're an Audi enthusiast it may not get you and your car featured in one of these articles we write up every month. Daniel isn't one of those average guys, and his S4 certainly isn't status quo. Daniel, who goes by the name of 'UBERS4' on The Zine, is a pretty passionate guy that has a thing for competing. This has earned him and his 2005 S4 our Featured AZ'er spot for May 2008.

A lot of things stand out on this B6, such as the custom color-matched 19 inch DPE wheels, the flat black roof, and the LED tails. Something less obvious but a bit different are the Rotora 6 Piston big brake kit and the Eisenmann exhaust. Add these bits up with all of the other numerous mods both inside and outside the car and you have one highly modified and extremely personalized S4. Being the loyal member of the Europrojektz crew that he is, Daniel takes his Audi to as many shows and events that he can. It's no surprise that his is usually one of the very few S cars in attendance.

Showing off the work he's put into something is what Daniel does. Whether it be his own personal self, or his vehicles, the guy likes to compete. As show-ready as he's made this B6 beast, we hear there's still more up his sleeve and in the works. I think we're all pretty familiar with the "Mod Bug", and from both the looks and sound of it, Daniel has it bad. Ultimately, that bug is really just passion. Join that passion with taking risks, and that's what gets you those awards on the shelf. I guess it's a good thing Daniel and his S4 are out to win awards.

Future Modifications
Im really happy with where the car is right now but Im sure Ill need something new. Id like to do a Rotora rear BBK, Oettinger front bumper (to further my Oettinger theme) and some suede interior work. Ive been toying with the idea of doing exhaust cut-outs as well.

Q (Audizine): How long have you owned this vehicle?
A (UBERS4): About a year and a half.

Q: How has your ownership been with this vehicle overall?
A: Great! I was told once you get into an Audi, you wont want anything else. Thats been pretty much the case.

Q: Think you'll be getting another one anytime soon?
A: Most definitely. Id love to work with an S5 as a show car or even an R8 some day.

Q: Is this your first Audi?
A: This is my first Audi and its everything I could have hoped.

Q: How long have you been into Audis and/or in the tuning scene?
A: This is my first European project but I had a Lexus IS300 that I worked with prior to my Audi. Including that car, Ive been into the scene for about 4 or 5 years now.

Q: How long have you been into cars in general, as an enthusiast?
A: My whole life. I was that kid who collected Matchbox cars and drove them around the house!

Q: Where do you think that passion and enthusiasm comes from, can it be traced back to anyone or anything?
A: Honestly, I think it was just sheer curiosity. I have always been curious when it came to cars and have found them to be intriguing.

Q: What do you most love about your car?
A: The time and effort Ive put into it. Theres no other S4 like mine on the road or at the shows.

Q: What's your biggest peeve in regards to the car, the one thing you dislike the most?
A: Probably the back seat, its pretty much unusable for people of height or size.

Q: Can you explain your modding style? Do you prefer more go, more show, perhaps a combo of both?
A: My first goal was to make the car even more enjoyable and make it uniquely mine. My second goal has been to build something different that would raise heads on the street and impress people at shows. Theres a plethora of Audis with the same, run of the mill modifications and I didnt want mine to be another. Thats why I sourced not so common companies like Eisenmann Exhausts and Rotora brakes for my parts. My car no doubt is a lot of show, but it also can go.

Q: Do you prefer to do the work yourself, or do you have a shop or specific person perform the work?
A: Id love to do the work myself but I really lack a lot of the tools. The big stuff I leave for my shop.

Q: Which mod are you the most proud of or happy with?
A: Probably my wheel/brake setup. It definitely sets the car off. Second would be the performance parts of the car.

Q: Describe your fondest memory of owning, modifying, or driving this vehicle.
A: Every time I drive it, its a new experience. I encounter the usual thumbs up and even the occasional cell phone picture being snapped. One time, I was out driving and a girl was smiling at me over the car (at least I think it was the car lol). She couldnt take her eyes off of it. I assumed the person driving was her boyfriend and he got mad and actually turned off!

Q: What would be in your ultimate garage, if you could have any two vehicles?
A: A white Lamborghini LP640 with red interior and a Bentley Continental GT as my daily. All of course modded!

Q: What do your friends and family think about your passion for Audis?
A: At first, many of my friends/family kind of thought it was a waste of money. But, now that the car is at the point it currently is, most can see it as a piece of art.

Q: How does your love for cars and Audis affect your life, does it play a pretty big part?
A: It plays a huge part. Cars to me are works of art and not just means of transportation. I appreciate automobiles in many ways.

Q: Have an interesting day job? Care to talk a little bit about it?
A: Well, Im a student first and for most. But, Im also a personal and trainer and a national level bodybuilder. With the help of my sponsors Optimum Nutrition and American Bodybuilding, I hope to see how far I can push myself in the sport. Plus, with them helping me out with supplements, that gives me more money for the car!

Q: What brought you to Audizine, and how long have you been with us?
A: I was lurker on it, long before I even had an Audi. Ive been on AZ for as long as I can remember.

Q: When you're not on Audizine, or out playing with the Audi, what do like to you do for fun?
A: Since Im a competitive bodybuilder, much of my time is spent in the gym and prepping for shows.

Q: Any word of advice for your fellow enthusiasts, a bit of wisdom you'd like to impart on the masses?
A: If you do get into modifying cars, dont be like everyone else. If you like something someone has done, put your own spin on it. Modding is about making things your own.

Q: And that about does it. Do you have anyone you'd like to thank, any shout-outs?
A: The entire Europrojektz gang first and for most! Pablo Korona (www.pablokorona.com) for some of the awesome shots of my car for this feature! Loren at Rotora. Austin at GIAC. My man Manu at DPE. Dunlop Tires and Eric over at SPP. My friends and family for putting up with my addiction. And lastly, the AZ community!
